Saturday Mornings Are Still Moving: Join Us Tomorrow on the Metropolitan Branch Trail
Fall is here, the evenings are getting shorter, and our Tuesday evening walks are officially on pause until Spring 2027. But One Step Walking Club is still moving.
Tomorrow morning, Saturday, October 3, we are meeting for our regular Saturday walk on the Metropolitan Branch Trail. We will meet at 7:30 AM at 8th and Edgewood Streets NE and begin walking at 7:45 AM.
One of the things I have always appreciated about walking is that it does not require us to make life more complicated. You do not need a gym membership. You do not need special equipment. You do not have to be the fastest person in the group. You simply have to make the decision to show up and take the next step.
That has always been at the heart of One Step Walking Club.
As the seasons change, routines change with them. Our Tuesday evening walks will return in the spring, but Saturday mornings give us an opportunity to keep the habit going throughout the fall. Whether you have been walking with us consistently, have not joined us in a while, or have been thinking about coming for the first time, tomorrow morning is a good opportunity to get moving.
Come as you are. Walk at your pace. Bring somebody with you if you can.

At One Step Walking Club, we believe you can fit in the fitness because sometimes changing your health, your routine, or even your life really does begin with one step.
Movement is the medicine.
See you Saturday morning.
