Walking Together, Week After Week

Walking Together, Week After Week

When people ask what makes One Step different, the answer is simple: we show up together.

Whether it's Tuesday evening or Saturday morning, this walk isn’t just about exercise. It’s about energy, accountability, and community. For some, it’s a reset. For others, it’s the one hour in the week that isn’t claimed by stress, screens, or schedules. And for all of us, it’s a step in the right direction literally and figuratively.

We don’t need a theme, challenge, or gimmick to come together. The walk is the ritual. The commitment is the point. The movement is the medicine.

So if you’ve been thinking about joining us, tomorrow might be the perfect time. We meet Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at 8th & Edgewood Streets, N.E. on the Metropolitan Branch Trail. The pace is relaxed. The energy is real. And the welcome is always warm.

There is a chance of rain, so we’ll post an update by 3:30 p.m. just in case. But our rhythm stays the same, and our steps are steady.

Keep moving,
– Silas
